Glazing & Glass Repair
Failing glazing putty and loose or cracked panes let water and drafts straight into your home. We re-glaze, re-set, and replace glass to restore a clean, weather-tight window.

On a historic double-hung window it's the first line of defense against the Pacific Northwest's rain. Over time the putty dries, shrinks, and cracks away, leaving the glass loose and the wood exposed to moisture, which is exactly how sash rot begins.
Re-glazing at the right moment protects the entire sash. Left too long, the same neglect that started as a little crumbling putty turns into rotted rails and a far bigger repair.
The gentle ripple of old cylinder and float glass is part of what gives a period window its character. Where a pane must be replaced, we source antique or restoration glass to match so a single repair doesn't stand out against the rest of the window.
Restore a weather-tight seal before the rot sets in.
